We are seeking a Standard Frontend Engineer to join the AI for Regions team, which designs and delivers AI-enabled solutions for Regional Operations and country-facing use cases. You will build secure, production-ready web applications with Angular and/or React / Next.js and TypeScript that integrate with backend and AI services through authenticated REST APIs and Server-Sent Events (SSE). The role is hands-on and covers frontend development, authentication (MSAL / Microsoft Entra ID), API integration, deployment on Microsoft Azure, and production support. This is your job: Develop user-facing applications using Angular and/or React / Next.js with TypeScript Build reusable, responsive, and accessible UI components and application workflows Integrate applications with authenticated REST APIs and Server-Sent Events (SSE) Implement authentication and authorization using MSAL / Microsoft Entra ID Collaborate with backend engineers, solution architects, and UX/UI designers to deliver end-to-end application experiences Support deployment of frontend and backend application components across development, QA, and production environments Configure application environments, authentication, secrets, logging, monitoring, and service connectivity Troubleshoot and improve application performance, usability, and production reliability Your qualifications: 3+ years of frontend or software engineering experience Strong proficiency in Angular, React / Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience building modern web applications and reusable component libraries Hands-on experience integrating applications with REST APIs and backend services Knowledge of modern authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and MSAL Familiarity with SSE, streaming APIs, or real-time application patterns Experience with Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Docker, and cloud application deployment Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, preferably Azure App Service, Entra ID, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Application Insights, and Azure Container Registry Familiarity with backend technologies such as FastAPI, .NET, or Node.js Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend engineering best practices Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Ability to take ownership and work effectively in an iterative, fast-moving environment Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field Nice to Have: Experience building applications for AI, RAG, search, analytics, or other data-intensive workflows Organizational information: All applications will be treated in strict confidentiality.
