Actuarial Analyst - Life

Proposed designation - Analyst Role type - Individual Contributor Reporting to - Manager Geo to be supported - US Work timings: 11.30 to 20.00 Work mode: Hybrid Primary Responsibilities • Actuarial Audits: Audit of the client’s half-yearly and yearly valuation systems for true and fair view. • USGAAP, USSTAT and IFRS 17 [Assumptions, methodology, controls and results] review Modelling: Modelling of reserves, risk margin, embedded value for various life products; model testing and validation. Advisory support • Appraisal Value/Transactions/Embedded Value Review: Provide transaction and due diligence support to the client; including perform independent validation of Embedded Value calculations. • Assist client with understanding and implementing the new regulations e.g. IFRS 17, etc. • Assist with actuarial system transformation #LI-SD2 Mandatory Skills • Qualifications: Graduate/Post graduate with a strong background in mathematics and statistics • 0-1 years of relevant Actuarial experience. Member of Institute of Actuaries (UK) , SoA and CAS of US and/or Institute of Actuaries of India and must have passed at least 2 actuarial exams (with CM1 pass being mandatory) from any of these institutes.
