Job Title Lead Systems Engineer Job Description Job Responsibilities: Own product-level   global   sustain ability   regulatory   compliance for     WEEE, PPWR ,   Deforestation,   Battery regulations ,   Substance regulations,   and other   regulations   across the portfolio.   Translate corporate sustainability goals and regulatory obligations into product-level requirements, design inputs, documentation expectations, and   implementation   roadmaps.   Manage   internal   sustainability tools and workflows,   including,   Windchill, SAP, BOMcheck, and PLM-related data processes.   Lead SAP document approval for sustainability deliverables and ensure documentation is complete, traceable, audit-ready, and ready for release.     Lead tender request support   and work with markets   by providing substance compliance, packaging, recyclability, sustainability, and product environmental inputs.   Responsible for coordinating   CSRD reporting by   collecting    required   product sustainability data   with   evidence   inputs   from product stakeholders to ensure   KPI s are   achieved .   Perform   early   impact   assessment of emerging sustainability regulations , define risk mitigation plans, and guide implementation teams on   supply chain   alternative,   as part of   business continuity .   Provide   technical guidance on   sustainability   compliance risks, evidence gaps, supplier escalations, nonconformances, and readiness for implementation reviews.   Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or   Master’s degree in Systems Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability Science, or   a related   technical discipline.   Minimum Experience: Typically requires 10+ years of experience in product sustainability, product environmental compliance, systems engineering, product stewardship, regulated product development, or a related technical field.   Experience in medical   device , electronics, industrial, automotive, or   another   highly regulated industry is preferred.   Minimum Certification: N/A Preferred Education: N/A Preferred Experience: N/A Preferred Certification: Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred Skills: Restricted Substance List & compliance (BOMcheck);    LCA & product carbon footprint;    QMS & PLM systems (SAP, Windchill);    Sustainability regulations (REACH, CSRD, TSCA, Prop 65, PPWR);    Supplier compliance data management; and    Sustainability reporting basics.   Effective communication, adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, ability to meet time-bound deliverables, and independent working How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
