Position: Audiobook QA Expert — English (US) Type: Contract Compensation: $20–$25/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 20 hours/week Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in English for naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment. Identify and log errors in synthesized speech, including skipped, added, or mispronounced words. Categorize issues and mark the exact span using our review tooling. Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural or breaks the experience. Work consistently across many hours of audio, maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native fluency in English (US / North American English). Experience as an active audiobook listener with opinions on quality. Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication. Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, or linguistics. Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis. Preferred Experience in AI training-data, model-evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects. Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
