Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications to join Strategic Procurement - CAT IT Division. The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office -Bangalore, KA-India This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office What you will do This role is responsible for modernizing the application portfolio that supports Procurement processes. What You Will do: Partner with Procurement leaders, business users, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to understand business processes, pain points, and modernization priorities. Assess legacy applications and define pragmatic modernization approaches, including re-platforming, refactoring, integration, data migration, and retirement. Design and develop responsive user experiences with ReactJS and scalable services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Build, deploy, and support secure cloud solutions on AWS, applying appropriate architecture, integration, monitoring, and operational practices. Evaluate and implement generative AI use cases using Amazon Bedrock, with appropriate security, governance, and responsible AI controls. Design data solutions and integrations using Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SnapLogic, APIs, and related ETL patterns. Lead requirements analysis, solution design, estimation, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, defect resolution, and post-go-live support. Translate complex technical topics into clear business outcomes, options, risks, and recommendations for stakeholders. Promote reusable components, engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, documentation, and continuous improvement across the application portfolio. Top Candidates Will Have: Proven delivery of at least one large-scale application modernization, cloud migration, or legacy platform transformation. Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-enabled enterprise applications. Experience establishing modern front-end and back-end architecture standards and reusable engineering patterns. Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, master data, or related enterprise business processes. Experience with data migration, data quality, integration architecture, and analytics or reporting solutions. Experience working with globally distributed teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority. Additional Information : Location: Bangalore, India. Up to 10% travel may be required.   Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Level Extensive Experience: • Analyzes system requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications. • Designs complex application architectures that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. • Evaluates and selects appropriate pattern, components, technologies, and tools for application development; integrates them with technical design. • Leads application design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution. • Troubleshoots complex design issues and provides innovative solutions. • Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for applications. Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design). Level Working Knowledge: • Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software. • Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization's application software. • Drafts application software usage for the department's needs. • Provides instant support for end users of application software. • Implements a specific application software under the supervision of management. Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
